Premiere Junior Trap League competition wraps up

The Geary County Fish and Game Association at Sportsmen’s Acres wrapped up its first-ever Junior Trap League competition on Saturday, July 22. This beginner level shotgun shooting competition provided five weekly 50 target shoots for competitors aged 12 to 17. The first score was held in reserve to use for missed shoots or to replace a lower score so competition was for best 200 target score, according to coach Andy Fewin. There were 11 participants, three girls and eight boys, who shot a total of 250 clay targets each for score.
