Letter from the Editor

Just when I think this town couldn’t find more to throw my way, we hit graduation weekend and Chapman explodes with a flurry of activity. Between CHS graduation, alumni events, various banquets, and Mother’s Day… it was a rather busy couple of days. Way to keep this guy on his toes Chapman!

Mother’s Day holds a particularly special place in my heart. I was raised by a single mother; my father having proven himself not up to the task of fatherhood when I was but a newborn. But despite that early abandonment, I never felt anything less than the utmost love and affection. In fact, backed up by my grandfather (the best surrogate father a kid could ask for) my mother managed to impart the vast majority of the quirks that make me the somewhat odd, but ultimately endearing, weirdo that I am today. My love of books, true crime, science fiction, British comedy, and the Beatles… all come from her. My mother, Susan Tull, was my first hero.
