Remembering past Chapman editors, Part II

With the Chapman & Enterprise News-Times changing hands at the beginning of 2018, it seemed a look back at past editors was in order, to remember those who have sought to record the town’s history as it took place.

Last week we shared that the Chapman Advertiser was established 1899, by early Chapman settler Thomas H. Sheeran. He died in 1905, and his widow, Ann Howe Sheeran, took over in 1906, followed by their daughter, Frances Sheeran, who took over in 1923 and served as editor until her death on Sept. 18, 1986.
