Christian Hoffman, His Mill and the Legacy He Left in Enterprise

While Dickinson County has produced many distinguished business men, there is one who stands out from the rest. But, like the others, he worked many lengthy hours for the future of his family. He spent countless hours planning for what would put “his” town on the map. And, just as many hours preparing for how he could not only provide for his family, but for the families of his employees, likewise.
 
Christian Hoffman was a man who had a vision. And, now 150 plus years later, the vision he had for Enterprise is seen in the eyes of those who reside in the tiny town. For it was in his eyes that he wanted to brand the town so if would never be forgotten, and that is exactly what he did.
