American Legion Riders host Annual Bike Run

The sun was shining and the temperatures were hovering around 70 degrees as dozens of Harley Davidson motorcycles pulled up outside of the American Legion Veteran Hall in Chapman on the morning of Saturday, May 5. Over 70 riders were assembled for the American Legion Riders Annual Bike Run, an all-day event that included food, fun, raffles, and of course… a lot of motorcycles.

Legion members were serving $1 tacos to the public all day and a raffle was taking place with prizes donated by a variety of local businesses. According to American Legion Riders Chapter 240 Director Ron Kabat all funds from the sales of the tacos and raffle were donated to the 9/11 Scholarship fund and to help with support for local Veterans.
