The gardens and decor at Dan and Lacee Sell’s home in Chapman have earned the family the Dickinson County Garden of the Month for July and August by the Dickinson Garden Guild.

The Chapman City Council passed an ordinance to further address grass waste at the July 12 city meeting.

Chapman area residents helped by donating 31 pints in resupplying the American Red Cross blood supply, which recently reported a critical shortage of about 61,000 fewer donations than needed.

The Chapman Archery team competed in three National NASP Tournaments in Louisville, Ky. May 11-13.

The Chapman 12 & Under girls softball team took first place at the Salina Blue & Gold tournament on May 6.
