The Chapman municipal swimming pool bathhouse received a fresh coat of paint this summer, thanks to Sam Switzer, who selected the undertaking for his Eagle Scout project.

In Oregon Lorine McKeeman was the oldest of four girls in the Anderson family. The four planned a vacation holiday at Puerto Vallarta, a resort on the Mexican coast.

This writer first became aware of Mount Hope Cemetery by helping our father put up flags on the graves of veterans there on Memorial Day. He was doing it for the American Legion.


The Chapman Archery team competed in three National NASP Tournaments in Louisville, Ky. May 11-13.

The Chapman 12 & Under girls softball team took first place at the Salina Blue & Gold tournament on May 6.

The Chapman City Rec. offered a spring 3v3 Youth Soccer League for the first time in April 2017.
